THE ONLY SOURCE
WE THANK YOU for all your labors and the faith you have in the living God. You presented "Him" as the source of "All in all" to us through the pages of Union Life magazine, and allowed us to mature and grow in the awareness of "Christ in you." We rejoice for the faithfulness of Jesus as He continues to reveal Himself through your love and labors. May His life in all of you continue to be expressed in all of your future endeavors.
In all of life's struggles, suffering and sickness, we have found Jesus as the only true source of strength, hope, and peace. For years we were so blinded by who we were, we couldn't see that Christ needed to be the central figure in our lives. But we grew and shared and believed, and it was no longer "I" that lived, but Christ. Thank you for your part in bringing us to this reality.
We thank you for your transparency in the pages of the magazine, and for all the saints who were concerned for souls like us. You are blessed to have been God's chosen, and we continue to cover you with our prayers and appreciation for Who you represent.
"God is truly shouting at us in His silence."
God bless you all and thank you for being such an important part of our lives. We truly miss the magazine.

DEAR TO MY HEART
I'VE ONLY BEEN AWARE of your ministry as a magazine for the past couple of years, thanks to a cousin of mine who showed me a copy. The content of these magazines is a treasure. What I love is that you include articles from various religious groups -- truly ecumenical, something dear to my heart.
I'm Greek Orthodox and, after Vatican II, through my teaching of the classical guitar was led by our Lord to teach various Orders of Sisters in the Catholic church after Vatican II as Folk Masses were then being introduced. As I was teaching them, they asked me if I could lead them to give them confidence. So I've been playing and leading congregational singing now for 25 years! Praise be to God!
It was interesting to note that you began Union Life in 1975 -- I was asked by the priest to begin a prayer group in 1976, and by the grace of God it is still going! So I share a long time of ministry with you. You have ended the publication -- but, of course, you will continue to lead people to our precious Lord for the rest of your lives. I pray I will also.
May God continue to bless your special work in His name, and may He always keep you in the palm of His hand.

LIFE-GIVING ESSENCE
IF ONLY YOU KNEW how much the ministry of Union Life has meant to me! I began reading the magazine in 1986, and by 1988 I was finally "getting it." The ten years after that brought much insight and intimacy with the Lord.
My first reaction to "no more Union Life" was grief. I couldn't help questioning: "How could they stop, Lord?" Inside, I screamed, "NO!"
There is precious little true ministry going forth in contemporary Christianity, and it hurt me to see this beautiful, life-giving, Christ-breathing essence of our faith being phased out.
Then I took a long, deep look at what you said, and stopped to think about how much I trust each of your spirits. If you say the Lord is leading you to stop publishing, then it is the Lord. Even if it is difficult (impossible!) to figure out, I trust Him. And I trust you.
So, bless you in the Beloved One
